You will be picked from your location by 6 AM. We then head through the Rift Valley towards Narok town. After a short break, we head straight to Maasai Mara National Park. Expected park arrival is 12 PM. We will proceed to the camp for check-in and lunch. After lunch, you can relax in the camp until 2:30 PM when we head out for our afternoon game drive searching for the wild animals and searching for the wildebeest migration. We will return to the camp by 6 pm for dinner and drinks. Overnight at Mahali Mzuri Camp.
Day 2:
Wake up call is early! Arise at 6 AM for an early breakfast and check-out. We will then proceed for the early morning game drive. We plan 2 to 2 1/2 hours for this drive. Mornings are often the best time to see the Big 5--especially lions and their cubs. The morning sunrise in Maasai Mara is usually spectacular and paints the park and animals in extraordinary ways. After the game drive, we can arrange an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Mara village, where you will be entertained with the Maasai Dance and learn more about their lifestyle. After, we will proceed to Narok for a late lunch and arrive back in Nairobi in late afternoon.
Enjoy the thrill of an early morning hot air balloon ride where you can enjoy the spectacle of the Maasai Mara sunrise and the aerial view of big game scattered across the rolling plains of the reserve. We can make this happen for you!
